The tolerances listed are per NEMA Standards and are based on the ± deviation of the actual nominal wall thickness.
TIR- Total Indicator Runout is the difference between the lowest wall thickness reading and the highest wall thickness reading of a given tube section. It is the total of the ± tolerances listed in the concentricity table above.
Example- a XX tube 1.000" ID by 1.250" OD has a concentricity of ± .007". Thus, the TIR is .014". |
